AP TET exam will be conduct twice in year from 2011 with 6 months interval, Next test will be in last week of January 2012. Implementation of the RTE Act pressed all state governments towards TET exam, to ensure that quality requirement for recruitment of teachers at the Elementary level Classes from I to VIII class. Now TET a minimum qualification for all candidates to get appointment as a teacher. Central government trying to bring national standards and common benchmark of teaching quality in the recruitment process in India. The candidate who applying TET for I-V classes should be Intermediate with at least 45% marks and pass in 2 year Diploma in Education. B.Ed. candidates will be eligible for appointment for classes I to V only up to 1st January, 2012. Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII is B.A. /B.Sc./B.Com with at least 45% marks and pass in 1 - year Bachelor in Education -B.Ed.
APTET Results released on 4th this month 296,826 candidates appeared for Paper I and 140,171 (47%) qualified. 152,427 candidates appeared for Paper II Mathematics and Science and 89,638 (59% ) qualified and 173,320 candidates appeared for Paper II Social Studies and 81,799(47%) qualified.
So many students miss qualifying marks with just one mark. Recruiting Agency can check the marks obtained by the candidate in APTET, July, 2011 from the website APTET. The candidates who write both paper 1&2 was not succeeded in July exam some candidates failed to get eligible marks in both papers, in short of just two to five marks in both exams. I think this problem not repeat in next TET, because of B.Ed. candidates will be eligible for appointment for classes I to V only up to 1st January, 2012, so that candidates not eligible to apply Paper -1 in next APTET exam going to held on January 2012 last Sunday. TET 2011 not qualifiers waiting for next test
